Apple Tree
May 4, 2008

There’re some Spanish bands that I really love, and Cycle is one of them. Now they’re preparing their second album for this 2008, and I wonder if they’ll be able to maintain their quality, as one of the basic pillars of their first disc, Luke Donovan (the singer), left the group some time ago.

Song: Apple Tree.
Band: Cycle.
Album: Weak on the Rocks (2005).
Genre: Electronic, Indie.

Lyrics:

My rave is on with my courage high
rave get up
I’m on a bomb with a tickin’ fuse
crank your butt
my wave is song take a lullaby
make it up
create a sound turn it round and recycle it

under the apple tree
sweet child might have been sixteen
heavy eyes
just a moments rest
she lay down on the blossom

all for lust
wether waiting or participating
all for lust
come on now deny
you’d like to taste one
all for lust
come on wake your beast from
hibernation
all for lust
mother nature’s
playing tricks

my rave is on with my courage high
rake it up
I ride a storm full of colorful
funky shit
my lady’s gone I’m available
strut your cut
freak out a form with your skeleton
and feel my gut

under the apple tree
sweet child might have been sixteen
heavy eyes
just a moments rest
she lay down on the blossom

all for lust
wether waiting or participating
all for lust
come on now deny
you’d like to taste one
all for lust
come on wake your beast from
hibernation
all for lust
mother nature’s
playing tricks on you
